Miami: With gyms around the world ordered shut amid the coronavirus pandemic, Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Reddit on Friday to share a workout he said anyone could do at home.
There are a lot of things we can’t control during this crisis, so we need to focus on what we can control. I wrote up my old no-gym required workout for all of you, as promised, because we can control our fitness. https://t.co/cL0gSMgf1o

“Gladiators and Vikings didn’t have gymnasiums,” the former California governor and professional bodybuilder wrote, prescribing a routine of body weight, or freehand, exercises. “I started my own fitness journey with chin-ups on a tree branch by a lake in Austria.”
The at-home workout starts with 25 push-ups for beginners and 50 for more advanced trainers before progressing through dips and rows between chairs, sit-ups, bent-leg raises, twists, squats, calf raises and chin-ups.
“If an exercise says 50 reps, you are doing 50 reps however you can,” the actor said. “We’ll get through this together, and hopefully, we’ll all emerge in a few weeks fitter than ever. Let’s do this.”
