Inventor, investor and the man who inspired millions, Steve Jobs wore many hats. Steve co-founded Apple Inc, which is still counted among the most valuable publicly traded companies in the world.
In October 2003, Steve was diagnosed with cancer. In August 2011, he resigned as CEO of Apple Inc. Steve died at his home in Palo Alto, California, on 5 October that year owing to complications from a relapse of his previously treated cancerous tumor.
Describing his experience after his trip to India, Steve once wrote, “Coming back was more of a culture shock than going … I was a stranger in America for the first time in my life, and so I saw things I’d never seen before.”
