BEIJING (Reuters) – Total smartphone sales in China dropped by 9% during this year’s Singles’ Day shopping festival compared to last year, with both HONOR and Apple experiencing double-digit declines, Counterpoint Research said on Wednesday.

Huawei saw a 7% year-on-year increase in sales, driven by price reductions on its Pura 70 series and Mate 60 series and the launch of its Nova 13 series featuring the 5G Kirin SoC.
