Reason – manipulation at the crucial juncture of promotion to Brigadier & Major General.
There is no dearth of talent in India, why cry for iit and iim. But army need to harness the talent and set example in society , which will lead other youths to follow the same. No need to worry about been behind, as there is continous development in all field which is causing change in strategy and operation.
Chote Bhai, your knowledge in defence matters appears to be very shallow. Your so called ‘intelligent’ people are not even close to clear the SSB, which is a mendatory requirement to join army. IIT/ IIM graduates are more Keen to work in private sectors due to better pay & perks than army. Still there are Patriots who join and serve the nation rather than pointing it out negatively.
Marching on Rajpath is a ceremonial thing to make the citizens of the nation feel proud of their military might. But you won’t understand it, I suggest you shift to China for sometime, you’ll realize that the liberty of opening your hip without having a clue in the matter exists only in India.
