Govt constitutes team of experts to inspect two sites of massive landslides in Himachal Pradesh. Team recommends determining effect of human activities on highways among other measures.
SC had ordered that road width on Char Dham route should be 5.5 metres. But the 21 members said ‘this is impractical as it is not possible to grow trees on the excavated parts’.
