While we talk much about our military, we don’t put our national wallet where our mouth is. Nobody is saying we should double our defence spending, but current declining trend must be reversed.
In India have we ever seen a politicians going behind bars for the level of corruption our country is known for ?. Small time thieves rot in jails for years without justice while our politicians though engage in corruption and criminal acts never get punished. Whom should we blame ? the judicial system, the investigating agencies or cases being high jacked by the criminals by engaging high profile counsels who cannot be effectively be challenged by the investigative agencies. As the writer says definitely there was scam and the Supreme Court cancelled the licences issued by Raja and team. It is sickening to watch the Congrass and DMK celebrating the event. If justice has to prevail and if the citizens need to have confidence in the legal system, the investigating agencies have to take the matter to the next level. We have seen what happened in the case of Jaya’s disproportionate assets case where the lower court held her guilty while the Karnataka HC gave her a clean chit, but when the matter went to the Supreme Court, she was charged guilty with a rap on the HC judge and an appreciation for the lower court judge. We hope justice will prevail and the guilty get punished not in hell but here on earth !
In our country this is the scourge of all high profile criminal cases- sloppy investigation and inept prosecution- allowing criminals to slip away. This has happened the umpteenth time. Lot of glare is brought prematurely on every high profile case, accused are media-tried and maligned without trial and alas let away at the end of court trial just because prosecution failed to bring a water tight case.
How could a MP be an investor in primetime media channel. Total failure of democratic system.

Under whose watch the investigation was going. Was it not the Modi Govt. Then is the PM not guilty of incompetency
Does this indicate ‘Sab mile huye hai ji‘?
Who was responsible if there were any loopholes in the investigation? The Government I think.
You are right sir, I hope justice will prevail. But justice delayed is justice denied, we should remember.
