Congress, VCK, CPI & CPI(M) have extended support to Samsung Electronics workers demanding official recognition of Samsung Workers' Union, affiliated with Centre of Indian Trade Unions.
Over 1,000 employees from the unit in Sriperumbudur have been protesting since 9 September. They have alleged poor wages, humiliation & long working hours, which Samsung denies.
