As MVA govt completes one year in Maharashtra, CM Thackeray in an interview to Saamana slams BJP on a number of issues & says alliance is functioning smoothly.
The Sena also took a swipe at BJP for announcing wearing of black badges by its leaders until Goswami is released, in an editorial in its mouthpiece 'Saamana'.
Shiv Sena questions BJP’s decision to name Nitish Kumar as Bihar CM candidate even if BJP wins more assembly seats. Sena & BJP had fallen out over the Maharashtra CM chair last year.
Saamana’s interviews were once solely reserved for the Thackeray family but it has already published one with Sharad Pawar while another is likely with former BJP CM Devendra Fadavis.
In an interview to Saamana, Sharad Pawar says China is a bigger threat to India than Pakistan, and that China has distanced every neighbouring country from India.
An editorial in Saamana has said the disgruntlement voiced by Congress ministers of not being part of the government’s decision-making process is ‘unwarranted’.
Shiv Sena had earlier said the law could lead to an ‘invisible partition’ in India, but Uddhav Thackeray now says in Saamana his party supports CAA, is against NRC.
Editorial in Sena mouthpiece Saamana says it's unfortunate how disciples of Atal Bihari Vajpayee & Syama Prasad Mookerjee indulged in unethical practices.
Indians see West Asia as one uninterrupted wash of Islam, but the reality is more complex. For the Druze, support from Israel—where they are a recognised minority—is now critical.
Mini deal will likely see no cut in 10% baseline tariff on Indian exports announced by Trump on 2 April, it is learnt, but additional 26% tariffs are set to be reduced.
India-Russia JV is also racing to deliver 7,000 more AK-203 assault rifles by 15 Aug. These are currently being made with 50% indigenisation and this will surge to 100% by 31 December.
Public, loud, upfront, filled with impropriety and high praise sometimes laced with insults. This is what we call Trumplomacy. But the larger objective is the same: American supremacy.
It is reported that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra said in the above interview:” If you take out one revenge, we shall take out ten”. I humbly feel that this is in direct violation of the oath taken by the honourable Chief Minister. Even if he perceives that action against his MLA is a case of vendetta, he cannot threaten to act in a vengeful manner. The concerned MLA, if he is innocent, can approach the court of law for relief. To my mind, this statement made by the CM is highly inappropriate.
Smt Mansi Phadke seems to have been fond of precis writing, while at school. But does translated summary of an interview to an in-house newspaper constitute journalism, particular the one in which you want people to pay for?
You are right.. he is perfectly emulating Modi – Shah.
Uddhav is showing that the family traits and attitudes of goondagiri and threats by violence are intact! It was”normal”and expected of Bal to behave like this as a private head of a mafia, but unbecoming and uncivilised of a chief minister (although by default!).
“……………… do remember that you also have family and children.”
Chilling threat…………
He added, “You are not just washed rice. We know how to cook your khichdi.”
This one is even better.
You can beat up people but can’t make them vote for you. Don’t make the people come after you.

It is abundantly clear that Uddav Thackeray is a rogue.
