In the latest budget, the FDI limit was increased to 100 percent, but most foreign companies are not buying such large stakes in the Indian insurance sector.
As Narendra Modi becomes India’s second-longest consecutively serving Prime Minister, we look at how he compares with Indira Gandhi across four key dimensions.
Hats off ,really Delhi Police sacrificed a lot…but not on par with the expections of arrests nd no seizure of tractors….it seems ,still Police required to develop a lot…..retiring simply without doing any thing to country……let Police n Protesters to act Democratically…..
The restraint displayed by the Police is commendable, not easy to have a loaded weapon and not use it when attacked.. The political management and handling of the agitation on the 26th Jan. which was day chosen by the agitators was very mature.
1. Denial of permission to the march would have been called dictatorship attack on democracy etc. etc.
2. The attempt to create a confusion at the Parade was neatly handled.
3. Given the fact that the agitators were better armed with clubs, tractors, JCBs, Cranes and numbers, if at all they were to be stopped firing and use of vehicles bigger than tractors would have been the only option. The agitation leaders had factored that in and were hoping for it to happen, that is why none of the leaders were seen at the forefront, it was all cannon fodder.
4. By not obliging the Police earned the public sympathy at the cost of over 300 injuries. Despite some people trying to falsely talk about firing in the hope of igniting the passions.
5. Now all those involved will have to face the law.
Rajdeep Sardesai tweeted that a farmer has been shot even before verifying that the farmer died in the tractor accident. The tweet was shared by many. Isn’t he also responsible for fanning the crowd? What is with these journalists? They want riots and unrest it seems. Kudos to Delhi Police that they maintained calm despite so much provocation.
Absolutely amazing job by the. Delhi Police. Salutes.
The farmers are not farmers. The. real farmers had no interest in this, its only miscreants. calling themselves farmers. Finally I have not problem if the Sikh flag flies along. with the Tricolor. Its an Indian religion and the country belongs to the Sikhs as it does to other native religions. – A Tamil.
This is a crazy Nehruvian-Gandhist statement for a Police Officer. 70 years of unaccountable reservation-corruption Raj is showing:
It’s Tractors rally not farmers rally

Are u not ashamed to say that u had intelligence but allowed lawlessness to happen under your nose
What good faith is looking at instigations and not cornering fringe elements and allowing genuine farmers to protest
We the whole India is watching and dont u dare discredit the farmer protest
If you dare catch the culrpits starting from thag Sidhu Guy
You are just playing your part of the play whicb the govt has sponsored. Dont fool the nation
