After making an emergency landing in Thiruvananthapuram over a month ago, British fighter jet F-35 B, took off at 10.50 am for Darwin, Australia today morning.
A team of engineers from UK deployed at Thiruvanathapuram airport will now assess whether the F-35B can be repaired on site or if it will need to be dismantled & transported back.
The visiting team will assess the condition of the stranded jet to determine whether it can be repaired locally or needs to be dismantled and transported back to the United Kingdom.
