In several posts going viral on X, accounts have alleged that the department has been trying to promote 'Islamisation' and 'minority practices' on the campus.
There is one Ramayana that is taught at home but when children step out, they learn 50 other versions. They come back and question their parents, said Supreme Court lawyer Monika Arora.
India’s industrial output growth saw a 10-month low in June, with Index of Industrial Production (IIP) growing by mere 1.5% as against 1.9% in May 2025.
Standing up to America is usually not a personal risk for a leader in India. Any suggestions of foreign pressure unites India behind who they see as leading them in that fight.
Well Well
After studying from two iits and working in a third iit …iitgn for past 4 years… i can tell you IITGN faculty is mafia. theu would do whatever they would want to do.
there’s religious bias, region bias, and hierarchical discrimination at the top positions. Prof like Abinaya Sampath epuld throw out people on the basis of religious bias (hindu phobic)
No wonder Ms. Zenaira Bakhsh is defending the humanities idiots of IIT Gandhinagar. These fools have brought dishonour to the IIT brand and must be punished. The professors, especially Nishant Choksi and company, must be fired for engaging in such unethical conduct.
Ms. Bakhsh, being a Kashmiri, thinks it is her duty to support all kinds of “Islamic” causes in India.
First of all, what exactly is a humanities department doing in an IIT?
Do we want our IITs and IIMs to become JNUs or JU (Jadavpur University)?
If not, then we must keep them away from the scourge of humanities and social sciences. Wherever social sciences and humanities academics go, they create a ruckus.
For example, at Jadavpur University, it’s always the arts faculty students who are involved in all sorts of stupid things including painting “Azad Kashmir” slogans on the walls. The science faculty students are too engaged and burdened by coursework and research to be a part of this tomfoolery.
There is nothing in this article except for voicing official IITGN inputs. In absence of proof to the contrary, I find merit in allegations being put forward on SM. It is shameful that taxpayer money is being spent on rubbish.
