Interestingly, the abandoning former ambassador has tried to link former CJP Iftikhar Choudry with Army. We all know, Iftikhar Chaudry was removed by Mush and after his restoration, he didn’t leave a stone unturned in maligning Army. Mr Haqqani is a more of a juggler than a writer who can twist the facts so well that naive people fail to observe stark contradictions and paradoxes in his articles which are work of fiction rather than reality. This guy is rubbish , should be brought back to face trial for defaming pakistans most credible institution . It was ppp goverment who did this fiasco and he was part of that goverment . Now he is out to malign pak army on the behest of his foreign masters. ARMY has nothing to do with cancelation of a project . This was folly of ppp governtment and now pti government has to deal with this fiasco just like other issues which poor Imran Khan has inherited from previous mismanagement and self serving faulty policies .
At this point, it is clear to everyone that military involvement in the affairs of state have been the main cause of Pakistan’s failures. I really hope the Army would take a step back and fullfill its constitutional mandate and stay out of politics. Otherwise they will be the ones responsible for Pakistan’s eventual demise.

It is absolutely rubbish; the author has maligned the Pak army in pure civilians and economic issues that everything bad in Pakistan has been on the instructions of Pakistani generals. It is ridiculous. Even a 5th grader with basic research tools would know that all these errors happened during civilian rules. The author is former ambassador of Pakistan who was caught furthering his personal interest over his official duties. A case is pending against him in the court of law. He is busy defaming the most viable institution of Pakistan; The Pak army. The fact is, Pakistani economic institutions are weak and the country is paying the cost.
