Altogether 268 MPs were present during the voting. 110 votes were cast against Prachanda while one lawmaker abstained from voting. He needed 138 votes to win the trust vote.
A PM is required to cross threshold of 50%, which is 138 votes as per present number of parliamentarians. Dahal is expected to get a comfortable majority.
