No urgency on pleas against WhatsApp as it won’t transfer data to Facebook, says Delhi HC

Senior advocate Harish Salve, representing WhatsApp, reiterated that the messaging platform won't transfer data to Facebook till the the personal data protection bill isn't passed.

Latest policy update does not change privacy of users personal messages, assures WhatsApp

WhatsApp said it will not limit the functionality of the messaging app for users not agreeing to its new privacy policy, but will continue to send reminders about the update.
