As general secretary of CPI(M), Sitaram Yechury was expected to steer the party in a fresh direction and help it reinvent itself. But he has proved to be as much a failure as his dogmatic predecessor Prakash Karat.

The philosophy, ideology, policy on social structure,economic policy and organisational structure of ruling conglomerate does not match with any of the western concept of Left,Right,Liberal or Fascism.In that case we are free to give it a name.Let us venture out to do so.—NEW INDIA, HINDUTVA, ,RAMRAJYA ……….! But giving it a name is not so important.We may ‘call it by any name’ after all “What’s in a name,” One thing appears clear,now we have to accept and live with it for perhaps a long period of time.
