Madhya Pradesh govt Thursday served show-cause notice to Niyaz Khan over tweets asking Vivek Agnihotri to make a film on killings of Muslims. Khan says he did nothing that violates law.
The ordinance said a candidate who himself or through his proposer gives false information which he knows, or has reason to believe to be false will be punished with imprisonment.
With the enactment of the Bill, people will get the right to remove a sarpanch or members of panchayat samitis and zila parishads before their tenure if they fail to perform.
