Agree! This gift is rather like hauling coal to Newcastle. But seriously, it does point to the parlous state of the armed forces in India. They lack the means and modern weaponry to foigt tomorrow’s wars. The leadership from the MoD and the politicians when it comes to acquisition of up-to-date weaponry is a scandal.

The flying coffin….may be..but it has saved many from going into coffins….
The MiG-21 might have been a great fighter in its day. Now, it has outlived its usefulness.
