It was just their first innings. But now the second innings has started and I bet that Rajsaheb will never let anyone down. MNS was propped up by its political backers and funders with only one objective, to break Shiva Sena. Now that it has failed in that task, obviously its financial backers have decided to cut their losses. This is reflecting in its the fortunes or rather the lack of it.
MNS problem was that it Stood for nobody. Except itself. Clear Aggression with an Unclear Vision serves no one.
If Raj Thakeray decides to sincerely serve Maharashtra and immediately removes all the undesirable elements in MNS then no one can stop him.
Raj underestimated Uddhav, who has managed to gain an iron grip over the Shiv Sena, anointed his very young son Aaditya as his successor. Has accumulated some financial capital, but the MNS really has no constructive agenda or worldview of relevance to Maharashtra.
