Shiv Sena’s Hindutva politics is different from NCP’s commitment to secularism. “Too many cooks spoil the broth” is what describes the Maharashtra government.
Congress' Ashok Chavan and NCP's Chhagan Bhujbal allegedly argued for 20 minutes over a chair at the first cabinet meeting of the new Maharashtra govt.

Amit Shah will be the downfall of BJP. He has the backing of Modi so there is nothing anyone can do to get him out. If Modi has any sense he should curb Shah’s politics of splitting our society. By and large we have had no problems with our minorities getting hyperactive using violence but if his policies continue there is no guarantee we will enjoy communal peace.
Unfortunately the Opposition is worse while there is no cohesion among themselves. In Maharashtra they did achieve some success in co operating to share power but it remains to be seen how long they last. Sena which was always violently opposed to Congress and NCP have compromised so that Thakeray can become the CM. Sad that our country is ruled by power hungry politicians who have no ethical standards at all.
Jai Hind!!!
