pointing out their warnings against demagogues make the subject far more interesting and
topical in its discourse ! Their thoughts on demagoguery ironically are indeed eye-opening
and waking the natives from their deep slumber whereever demagoguery is the order of the
day in the world.
Our polity, in the past five years and at present too has very badly been a victim and in the grip
of demagoguery eating into the vitals and socio- democratic fabric of the nation ! Sooner we get
rid of it, better it will be for the health, betterment and well-being of the nation !

After reading this and other similar articles written by English educated Indians who have only read the western philosophers and have no or little idea about what this great country’s philosophers have to offer, come out with solutions they call them rational. Had these authors been taught the Indian Philosophy, their mind would have been working on solutions that make sense to Indian masses. I don’t know how long these people continue to pollute Indian discourse but they have done enough damage as English has been the language of rulers in India for a long time now. Essentially India had been ruled by slaves created by British. The major unrests in India is due to these slaves seeing powered slipped out of their hands to the children of the soil.
At the end of the reading of this article comes to mind a question was it necessary to go back to Plato and Aristotle to denounce the demagoguery?

India and USA are living examlples that Plato is correct. Its time for new form of govt. Democracy is too old for this century.
