Dunkirk does not deglamourise war by romanticising peace, it does so by putting the audience right at the centre of war. Indian prime-time warriors might do well in watching this Christopher Nolan masterpiece.

Eyebrows have been raised over Army Chief Gen. Bipin Rawat’s statements on Kashmir and Pakistan. While some are cheering him, others say that an Indian Army chief should not make provocative statements. Is the chatter of TV channels and digital India changing the culture of the military leadership? We ask experts about the pros and cons of having an outspoken military chief in a democratic India.
Is it easier for India to adopt a tough line in Kashmir today than it was in the 1990s? How is India’s position today different from the 1990s when New Delhi felt the impact of censure from groups like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, U.S. and European capitals? Can’t understand why such well learned writers like the one above try to portray the Indian side from a shady view. I mean how many times has India as a country gone beating its chest calling out for war?
We have always been a nation who used to get bullied by even a tiny island like Sri Lanka..! But Mr. Shukla, Kashmir is where all the Pandits have been mercilessly butchered, raped and left alone to become refugees in their own motherland because of such mentalities. If there is no “Nationalism” then we would get sold out to the lefts and these pseudo secular/ intellects who would openly resell us.
So I strongly recommend you to get your facts right and support in building this nation instead of pulling its pants down.
I’m no Bhakt..I didn’t even cast my vote….!
