Modi will win next election on his merit.
This article reeks of the author’s putrid bias against the ruling party and is not worth commenting on.
He has a such a knack and oratory he will convert the defeat into victory. As they did in 2019.
Wish you journalists were as critical when china occupied over land over the years !!!
There is merit in the argument that astute political messaging and inability of the opposition to derive political milage is helping the BJP tide over blunders after blunders and perhaps will help this time too. Unfortunately we have seen this pattern in the past with other populists who have used messaging over substance to govern the country. By the time the damage to the country is apparent, it is too late to hold the leaders themselves accountable. If the RSS does not step in now and instruct this govt to change course, the long term damage to the RSS’ own image will be incalculable. For there will come a time when somebody politically astute will appear in the opposition’s ranks and then all these blunders will be laid at the RSS’ feet – much like how RG is made to answer for everybody from Nehru to MMS.
