Research by Axis Bank points out 10 states now have income transfer schemes for women & are spending average of 0.8% of their GSDPs on these schemes, covering 11 crore women.
Finance ministry says the proposed revamp will focus on structural reforms, rate rationalisation & ease of living, & will be deliberated upon in the coming weeks.
