Active cases decreased by 96,861 to reach 21,05,611, comprising 5.18% of the total infections while the country's recovery rate stands at 93.60%, the health ministry said.
In revised Covid guidelines for children and adolescents, the health ministry also advises against the use of antivirals or monoclonal antibodies for those less than 18 years of age.
