According to the defence ministry, the Indian Air Force has intensified flood relief & rescue operations in northern India due to increasing floods with a primary focus on Jammu and Punjab regions.
The death toll in the natural calamity that struck the last motorable village en route to the Machail Mata temple on August 14 during the yatra stands at 65.
