This article is waste of time. Everything here is known. Farmers should first get real price for their crops and not taxpayer funded MSPs then the real cost of land will be apparent. Indian taxpayers are propping up land prices by subsidies to farmers.

A bit tangential point – our cities need to be more pedestrian friendly, that will take care of all the malaise our cities are afflicted with be it pollution, or crime, or last mile connectivity. We have inccentivized cars over transportation which has led to this mess.
