It’s totally false that Kia ev6 is sold for 1/3 rd price in fact the vehicle abroad is hardly available at even 10-15% discount
Secondly once you drive a ev you won’t want to drive a petrol diesel vehicle due to its sheer ease of driving and no maintenance
Thirdly you take any ICE car off showroom and it’s down by 30% . In EV it’s not the case
I have both petrol and EV and I would never buy a petrol car again . My EV gives 500 kms on charge and it’s sheer pleasure.
So journalists who are skewed and biased to ICE companies stop killing the industry and start telling facts.
I agree. The title of the article that life span of ev is short is far from truth. We have guaranteed life of battery for 8 years . But battery will last more than that. Even if the battery becomes unsuitable for ev, it can be used as domestic inverter battery. Se far as range is concerned no ICE car gives the promised mileage per litre.

Bought a MR Adventure Model for 12.15lacs
I know the same model will get 50k to 1lac discount by 2024 diwali
and the same model will cost 9lac by 2025 diwali due to the pressure from curve ev which will push down the cost of nexon ev which will push down punch ev and other new EVs from creta, kia and Suzuki by 2027 the same punch model will cost 8lacs.
by that time, Sodium iOn batteries will be launched and Aluminium Air batteries will be launched. The cost of new battery with longer range will be much more at 50% lower cost.
But still whether the new batteries will fit this 5 year old model is questionable !!!
And this is called Evolution and im part of it.
EVs are for enthusiasts not for fanboys.
EVs will kill CNG for sure but not Petrol/Diesel
Diesel will be killed by BS7 not EVs or other new age vehicles
Petrol will be killed slowly by 2030 by Hydrogen not EVs
None of the Manual gear lovers will convert to EVs
But all the Automatic gear users will easily convert to EVs
So, chill and stay safe from MonkeyPox ?
That was conclusion as well not to pursue EV .. so went for Hybdrid… Hybrid is more stable option… EV depreciates…
