It’s all on paper. No outcome. I can support comment above of Gaurav Saha. There is no progress in Goalpara. Rather it progress graph is going down day by day. We can proudly remember name of previous DCs. They have always uplifted the progress in Goalpara but all degrades in her days. Civil Hospital, Goalpara was one of the cleanest and best in Assam but now….. Attendance and teaching in Schools was far better than these days. People are waiting month after month for just a copy of Electoral Roll. Roads are getting worse. It’s been almost 2 years, no sign of upgrading Krishnai bridge, people are travelling through a Bailey bridge. All claim of giving assistance to flood victims or awareness for COVID-19 are not exception. All DCs are doing their best in this regard. It is their basic duty. You cannot claim that you are doing exception. You are doing far worse than other districts. And the reporters in the district.. so shameless. You should be ashamed of Journalism. Have the guts to stand against her, don’t shake hand. At last, shout as much as you can but we know that you have done nothing for the District. It’s all on paper, not on field. We will not miss you if you ever get transferred from our loving district. Shame on YOU.
Whatever….this is a cock n bull story will be believed by people far away lands. Locals know the real state of affairs. The main roads especially from agia-goalpara road are in terrible shape, it has got huge potholes…. resembles less of a road than craters in the moon. Many accidents and Back injuries have occurred. It has been around two years but no progress. There is no progress. They bring politician from a different route so as not expose themselves. Power situation remains bad, with frequent power cuts. They are many in the list but let them get first get the first two done
