Let us put things straight and say “selling SURPLUS” defence land. Now that this matter of semantics is settled, we have to realise that selling land is the easiest part of the whole exercise. What about the buyers? Do we want to sell the land to some real estate developer, most with foreign capital, who will build tall skyscrapers all around sensitive defence installations?
This is a dangerous game to be played only with full planning and sincere implementation.
