The total Covid cases mounted to 59,92,532, while the death toll climbed to 94,503 with 1,124 people succumbing to the virus in 24 hours, according to health ministry data.
The national recovery rate stood at 77.77 per cent on Saturday with over 36.2 lakh patients recuperating from the virus. The Covid fatality rate has further dropped to 1.66 per cent.
