India's Covid caseload rose to 1,00,75,116 with 19,556 new infections reported in a day and the death toll increased to 1,46,111 with 301 new fatalities.
According to health ministry data, over 87 lakh patients have recuperated, pushing the national recovery rate to 93.64%. The death toll has risen to 1,35,715.
There are currently 4,43,486 active coronavirus cases in the country, comprising 4.85% of the total caseload. The Covid case fatality rate stands at 1.46%.
A total of 29,163 infections were registered in a day even as total cases reached 88.74 lakh. The national recovery rate touched 93.42% while the fatality rate stood at 1.47%.
