Concerned officers should be given opportunity to explain their position and action should be taken only if there has been any male fide. After judgement of SC ,Govt has given status of OGAS to CAPFs. Govt is still to extend full benefits of OGAS to cadre officers. With the extention of OGAS benefits to cadre officers, IPS cadre will stand to lose some benefit of coming to CAPFs on deputation which appears to be real reason for not extending full benefits of OGAS to cadre officers, For this purpose cadre officers are approaching courts to seek justice. This aspect should not have any bearing while taking action against officers in this case. It is expected that leadership of the force which belong to IPS cadre will be fair and judicious. It will not be guided by any feeling of revenge and rise above minor considerations as true leaders.
