According to Punjab Law Minister Basharat Raja, so far 8 suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the blast that left 3 people dead and 21 others injured.
According to a report in The Dawn, the suspect, identified as Peter Paul David, is said to be the owner of the car used in the blast and was offloaded from a Karachi-bound flight.
The blast, in which 20 others were injured, took place at the place police picket outside Saeed's residence. It also sparked rumours at the site that Saeed was present in the house.
