It is not surprising that Altaf Bukhari wants to follow Bakshi Ghulam Mohammad’s simplistic political maxim – be on the good side of New Delhi, and rule. But will it work?
In May 1974, RSS chief Madhukar Dattatraya Deoras spoke at a lecture series in Pune about caste-based discrimination and social equality within the Hindu fold.
SEBI probe concluded that purported loans and fund transfers were paid back in full and did not amount to deceptive market practices or unreported related party transactions.
While the IAF remains committed to the Tejas programme and has placed orders for 180 Tejas Mk1A, the force is eagerly waiting for the Tejas Mk 2 version.
What Munir has achieved with Trump is a return to normal, ironing out the post-Abbottabad crease. The White House picture gives us insight into how Pakistan survives, occasionally thrives and thinks.
Bakshi Ghulam Mohammad was member of J&K National Conference and not Congress party when he resigned under Kamraj Plan for GM Sadiq to take over as PM to further compromise on article 370, reducing PM’s post as CM & Sader e Riyast as Governor. After dethroning Shiekh Abdullah, Bakshi also compromised with many clauses of article 370. Resisting to compromise further he was shown the door after 10 years of tyrannical rule when he devised new methods of physical & psychological torture to subdue the state subjects asking for fulfillment of UNSC Resolutions of 1948 on J&K. History will judge all the opportunists who have plundered the sentiments of the peace loving Kashmiris which is continuing till date.
Regardless of which party holds power in Delhi, J&K continues to be mishandled. It happened 1953, it happened in 1987 and it is happening now. There cannot be a forced or manipulated solution. If one visits Kashmir and is asked “Tum India se aaye ho?” then obviously something is seriously amiss.
Bakshi may be no hero to you, but he was the most popular CM of Kashmiris, (not for Paki supporters) who depended on Mehboob Mufti to make Kashmir part of Pak.
Maybe the views of the people of Kashmir will change, when they realise that BJP will carry delimitation exercise with taking the Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus), who were pogromed out of Kashmir by their “freedom fighters” terrorists, as residents (albeit, temporary) of Jammu, and also giving voting rights to the lower caste Hindus of Jammu.
All these will likely give a majority of seats to Jammu ?

Bhukhari should join chokidar chor BJP directly & should become CM instead of forming new party.
