After seeing students from China in march supposedly in 14 day lock down in Bangkok so they could come here partying every day, why would you let them in.
Morison Govt, denied help and support for overseas students earlier at the start of this epidemic , students should not risk there life under the prevailing circumstances .
No at the moment college students should not come back and look elsewhere. We as Australians need to look after our own children s education. Parents work hard pay tax all there life.. Why should our tax pay for them to stay in a motel for 2 weeks.. Do we get the benefit of overseas students when they finish there studies. No they go back to there own country.
Not now, they will not go home and stay in Australia( Specially Hong Kong students) and we will have highly educated migrant ( we didnt spend any money) and law abiding citizens full of motivations to excel themself, in our country.
Most of those students not using illicite drugs,they do not try to behave like American movie stars and actually work.
Win win for Australia? You bett!
Why only University students are allowed to come back to Australia, why not collage students??
What about the international students who are already studying in colleges are they not returning by pilot programs. So should we pay our fees for next semester if collage students are allowed to come back to Australia or we don’t pay? Collage students also have the same importance as university students have.
Are they taking students from a particular country ? Or from everywhere ?
International students are not charity case FYI. The fees paid are double than locals do. So do not think international students are freeloading
