Come on guys. Give financial support to people based on how poor they are. We need to add a creamy layer to the SC/ST category. I still feel cheated that a girl in my class who came in a Mercedes was considered a SC. And let me tell you no one gives a damn about caste when you are in urban middle class area.
THE SC/ST community which are actually poor get screwed over by these rich elites who claim to have SC/ST background(yes they are elites) we can never maximize our chances for our citizens because of stupid woke politics.
Also stop chasing government jobs. Get a private job. People waste their lives chasing government job.
It is shameful that in this day and age of cheap internet , people are being discriminated against based on archaic caste lines. Everybody knows that money is the real discriminating factor to quality education and not historical atrocities like who was not allowed to drink from the community well in a village. I have friends from so called reserved categories whose both parents work in government jobs yet theur wards get benefits such a subsidised education and even free coaching. While, there is a general category friend who runs his small grocery shop barely meeting ends wearing the same shirt for months together because he spends all of his money on his son and daughters schooling. Is modern India so blind to this apathy ? We are perpetuating deep fissures in society rather than solving anything.
