Vij, admitted at the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak since Saturday night after he complained of discomfort, was shifted to Medanta Tuesday evening.
Vij had tested positive for Covid-19 on 5 December, days after being administered the vaccine candidate Covaxin. He was shifted to PGIMS, Rohtak, Sunday night but remains stable.
Vij, who had last month got one shot of the two-dose trial of the Covaxin after he offered to be a volunteer, had on 5 December tested positive for the coronavirus.
