CM B.S. Yediyurappa has given the forest portfolio to turncoat four-time MLA Anand Singh, who is an accused in several illegal mining and forest cases.
Ganesh and fellow legislator Anand Singh got into a brawl earlier this year when Congress MLAs were taken away to the Eagleton resort to block the BJP's poaching efforts.
It was here that the Congress’ two ‘missing’ MLAs, Anand Singh and Pratap Gowda Patil, were reportedly holed up amid alleged attempts by the BJP to enlist their support to form the government.
A theme has not yet emerged for BJP & people see lack of a contest, which makes it unexciting. For all these reasons, 2024 is turning out to be an unexpectedly theme-less election.
