Transfer came after high drama as VHP functionaries took on local administration over arrest of regional in-charge Prince Gaur, for allegedly threatening ADM Ritu Punia.
According to the police, the accused has confessed that he killed the former ADM to hide the several thefts he had committed at the latter’s guest house.
In FY 2025-26, AoN for 55 proposals amounting to Rs 6.73 lakh cr has been accorded by DAC. Both the quantum of AoN given and capital contracts signed, so far, have been the highest in any FY.
