When your food is wrong, medicine is of no use, and when your food is right, medicine is of no need,’ – The new book by Subah and Harshvardhan Saraf talks about healing themselves of lifestyle diseases through nutrition and the incorporation of certain habits.

The writer duo decided to study the science of natural health and the natural cure for diseases. They have dedicated themselves to spreading authentic and timeless health knowledge to the world in a practical manner that is accessible to all.

Published by Penguin India, ‘The Satvic Movement‘ by Subah and Harshvardhan Saraf, will be released on 14 August on SoftCover, ThePrint’s online venue to launch non-fiction books.

The duo runs a non-profit by the same name, ‘The Satvic Movement,’ which is a health education platform. A platform solely made for the purpose of providing holistic knowledge about health that is based on the Vedas and scriptures.

Subah is a health educator, author, and video creator. She graduated from Living Light Culinary Institute, California, where she learned raw gourmet cuisine and plant-based culinary arts. Harshvardhan Saraf is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder of Vedary Medical Centre in Mumbai. He is also a wellness speaker and educator on YouTube.

The book discusses the truths that the packaged food companies hope consumers never find out, then goes on to talk about plant-based food – the importance of it, the unknown secrets of waking up early, and the benefits of it.

Further, the book highlights the seven habits a person should inculcate to have a routine life. The book explains why the seven habits are crucial, “We have come to the realization that habits are everything in life. Essentially, a habit is a routine or practice performed so often that, over time, it becomes second nature, happening almost instinctively, even without our conscious thought. In our view, what you do repeatedly shapes who you are and what you achieve. Put simply, successful habits make up a successful life.”
