In today’s featured cartoon, Kirtish Bhatt comments on the Bihar Police’s violent response Tuesday towards hundreds of protesters, including many teaching job aspirants, in Patna. The protesters were lathi-charged by the police and had water cannons directed at them.

Bhatt alludes to the viral video clip of Additional District Magistrate (law & order) K.K. Singh beating up a protester lying on the ground while holding aloft a Tricolour and notes that just like the ‘Flag Code’, the baton, too, needs a code on when, where and how to use it.
