In the cartoon, Yogi suggests there was no need to arrest the father at all, as Uttar Pradesh’s infamous ‘encounter killings’ would have taken care of him.
Appupen in NewsLaundry pokes fun at Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony before US Congress, in which he vowed to “protect the integrity of elections” in countries like India and Pakistan. This comes after the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data breach which is said to have swung elections in the US.
Jayanto’s cartoon in Hindustan Times deals with the recent Cauvery protests in Chennai, as a result of which Chennai Super Kings had to move their home base to the city of Pune.
