New Delhi: Renowned author Ruskin Bond encapsulates the essence of Valley of Words’ (VoW) mission in curating literature for young readers — “A good children’s book takes you on an adventure, makes you think, and leaves you with a feeling of warmth”.

This year marks another exciting chapter for VoW’s annual celebration of the written word. As we delve into the monsoon reading season, 2024’s curated shortlist promises an intriguing and engaging journey for young minds.

VoW has transformed P.N. Panicker Reading Month (9 June to 19 July) into a literary feast — unveiling shortlisted contenders for the 2024 Book Awards across eight diverse categories each week.
