Tirupati, Jul 3 (PTI) TTD on Friday said it clocked record laddu sales of 1.26 crore in June 2026, a year-on-year increase of over six per cent.
In view of the increasing influx of pilgrims, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams significantly enhanced laddu production and ensured uninterrupted distribution without any shortage, said a press release.
“The sale of 1.26 crore laddus in June 2026 marks a significant milestone. Compared to June 2025, an additional 7.5 lakh laddus were sold, registering a 6.37 per cent growth,” it said.
Compared to the previous three months, laddu sales witnessed a remarkable increase in June.
Compared to June 2024, laddu sales increased by over 24 lakh, representing a 23.5 per cent growth.
In April 2026, TTD sold over 1.1 crore laddus, followed by over 1.2 crore in May 2026, it said.
With the steady rise in the number of devotees visiting Tirumala for darshan (visit to deity), TTD has been efficiently planning the production and distribution of laddus, ensuring that devotees receive the sacred offering without any inconvenience, the release said. PTI STH SSK
