Traders’ Welfare Board meets in Delhi, discussions on welfare schemes & retail trade issues

New Delhi: The National Traders’ Welfare Board (NTWB) met in Delhi to discuss the welfare issues of the traders and to review the implementation of various welfare schemes under Sunil J. Singhi, a PIB press release stated.

It discussed the opening of an open VC link on the website of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

The VC interaction will help the traders to interact with the NTWB on various issues related to the retail trade. At the meeting, Singhi highlighted that the representations received from the members and trade associations have been brought to the notice of the concerned ministries and departments for necessary action.

The National Traders’ Welfare Board (NTWB) met on July 11 to discuss the welfare issues of the traders and to review the implementation of various welfare schemes. This link will enable weekly interactions between the traders across the country.

The VC interaction will help the traders to interact with the NTWB on various issues related to the retail trade.

Singhi asked the members to submit suggestions and inputs for improving the awareness and reach of welfare schemes related to retail trade. The meeting was attended by officials from trade associations and states as well as ex-officio members of nine ministries of government.
