Bengaluru, Jul 11 (PTI) The second edition of the GCC Workplace Awards, instituted by Bengaluru-based Zyoin Group, saw 50 GCCs in the organisation category, including global giants like SAP, being awarded for their innovation, leadership, and transformation in India’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) landscape.

“In our first edition, we had 200 GCCs participating and this year, we had over 300 GCCs participating and about 700 nominations,” said Anuj Agrawal, Founder & CEO, Workplace Awards to PTI.

According to him, while Fortune 500 companies are building exceptional GCCs in India, their efforts often go unnoticed.

“Our platform aims to change that, not just through recognition, but by fostering inspiration and connection as we step into the era of GCC 5.0,” he added.

He said the event was also about sharing stories, spotlighting best practices, and enabling peer-to-peer visibility across industries.

The event also witnessed the official launch of the GCC Workplace Playbook, he added.

“We co-created the playbook with six strategic partners, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), NHRD Bangalore Chapter, Adrenalin, CBRE, BDO and IIM Bangalore, so that we could make it comprehensive, with voices from across sectors,” said Agrawal.

The collaborative playbook, added Agrawal, will serve as a blueprint for GCCs to scale sustainably, balancing innovation, compliance, people experience, and real estate strategy. PTI JR ROH
