Jaipur, Apr 28 (PTI) Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Tuesday called for educating youth about the scientific aspects of ‘Sanatan’ traditions and encouraging them to study texts like the ‘Ramayana’ and the ‘Gita’.

He was speaking at a programme here, where discussions were held on temple management, social structure and public awareness.

Devnani said there is a need for deeper deliberation as well as practical initiatives to strengthen ‘Sanatan’ values and connect different sections of society.

Describing ‘Sanatan’ as eternal, he said such dialogues should continue without limitation.

He said that issues such as ‘Sanatan’ culture, social harmony, family systems, cultural preservation and public awareness require serious discussion in the present context.

“‘Sanatan’ culture is our identity and the foundation of society. Dialogue, awareness and active participation are essential to keep it strong,” he said.

State Finance Commission Chairman Arun Chaturvedi also attended the programme. PTI SDA APL APL
