Patna, May 7 (PTI) On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary described the military action against terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as “a proclamation of India’s unwavering response to terrorism and anti-national forces.” Operation Sindoor was carried out by the country’s defence forces, targeting terrorist and military facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir from May 7 to 10 last year.
This operation was carried out in retaliation for the April 22, 2025, terror attack in Pahalgam in which 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed in cold blood by three Pakistani terrorists.
“Operation Sindoor was not merely a military operation, but a proclamation of India’s unwavering response to terrorism and anti-national forces.
“Our brave soldiers, with indomitable courage and valour, shattered the enemy’s sinister designs and sent a message to the world that India is capable of going to any lengths to safeguard its honour and citizens,” Choudhary wrote in his X post.
Describing Operation Sindoor as the “hallmark of valour,” the Bihar chief minister said that “new India” does not remain silent but delivers decisive responses. PTI SUK NSD
