Patna, Apr 16 (PTI) Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar on Thursday congratulated Samrat Choudhary on assuming office as the chief minister of Bihar.
Choudhary succeeded Nitish Kumar on Wednesday, a day after the latter resigned from the post to take up central responsibilities.
On April 10, Nitish Kumar took oath as a member of the Rajya Sabha, marking the end of his two-decade rule in the eastern state and paving the way for a new CM.
Talking to reporters here, Nishant said, “Congratulations to Samrat bhaiyya on becoming the chief minister of Bihar. We will all work under his leadership. He will have the support of my father and our party.” Nishant said he will continue working to strengthen the JD(U) party’s organisation. PTI SUK MNB
