It focused on raising awareness about key initiatives under the Digital India Programme, including DigiLocker, Entity Locker, API Setu, OpenForge, myScheme, UMANG, and UX4G. Discussions also covered crucial verticals like cybersecurity and capacity building. State officials discussed the CM Helpline (1076), IGRS, UIDAI Ecosystem, and Aadhaar Authentication Services.
In a keynote address, Principal Secretary, IT & Electronics, Anil Kumar Sagar emphasized the importance of data and digital infrastructure, urging the state to leverage connectivity and collaborate for last-mile digital penetration. Ms. Neha Jain highlighted the workshop’s unique format, which included participation from both state officials and e-District Managers, emphasizing the collaborative effort towards good governance.
The workshop provided a platform for open discussion between MeitY and Uttar Pradesh officials to address challenges in implementing e-Gov projects. The aim was to gather feedback and suggestions for resolving these issues and facilitate the exchange of ideas, knowledge sharing, and industry partnerships.
This workshop, part of a series organized by NeGD, MeitY, was organised in collaboration with various states and territories, the release added. It aimed to promote the Digital India Programme, identify opportunities for integrating state IT projects with Digital India platforms, and recognize successful projects for replication.
